The Suntrust Personal Savings Account has a minimum deposit of $100. The Suntrust Personal Savings Account is a traditional savings account with a brick and mortar bank. Suntrust Premium Money Market Performance Account :

The Suntrust Premium Money Market Performance Account is Suntrust’s highest interest savings account.  This premium money market account allows you to earn a higher rate of interest than the Suntrust Personal Savings Account.  However, this money market account does require a minimum deposit of $2,500 and to start earning a lot more interest you need to deposit a minimum of $10,000.  This Suntrust Premium Money Market Performance Account is not for everyone, but if you are a Suntrust banking customer and in the market for a money market account, this might be a good option to check out.

The feature of the Suntrust Savings Accounts that sets it apart from its competitors like ING Direct, Emigrant Direct, and Etrade is that with the Suntrust banking savings accounts you can still use the Suntrust branches to do business.  You are not forced to do all of your banking on the Internet.  For those of you who are uncomfortable with Internet banking, this is a good option.  There are times when you want to visit a bank and talk to someone live.  With the Suntruct savings accounts you can do this.
