Suntrust Health Savings Account

Suntrust Online Banking has just announced its SunTrust Health Savings Account. This is a Consumer-Directed Healthcare solution for employers seeking to help its employees with rising healthcare costs.

The Suntrust HSA includes a healthcare payment card, healthcare website tools, health savings account investment options, and coordinated account management. Best of all SunTrust Online Banking will be an employer’s single trusted custodial partner.

Gary Plourder, Senior Vice President, SunTrust Institutional Investments Director of Sales has defined the purpose of the Suntrust Health Savings Account as, “We recognize that managing the rising cost of healthcare while achieving sustainable business growth is one of the greatest challenges businesses face today. In an effort to meet the demads of this dynamic market, SunTrust has launched a turn-key HSA product designed to accomodate the business needs of any organization regardless of size.”

The Suntrust HSA gives employers the toolds to manage employee HSA account through one online dashboard. If this online system is like the Suntrust Online Banking website, I am sure that it will be user friendly.

One of the best features of the Suntrust HSA is the Suntrust Healthcare Payment Card. This card will make it easy for employees to submit expenses for reimbursement.

Since the new year is almost here, you might want to consider the Suntrust Health Savings Account for the 2009 tax year.
